Shikon no Tama. by cupcake-rufflebutt Shikon no Tama. by cupcake-rufflebutt
Myself as Kikyou from Inu-Yasha. Photo taken by David Ng [Ng-Master] at Otakon 2007. Looking back on it, this was one of the most positively epic photoshoot experiences I've had, and working with Dave is always a treat. Scott [my Inu-Yasha] and I reinacted the entire history of our characters, pre- and post-death. It was quite fabulous. All aspects of the costume were constructed by myself, even the shikon no tama.

Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! <3

This is such a wonderful photo! I love your pose and expression. And the costume is excellent! You said you made it yourself? Could you tell me how? I need to make one of my own, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. ^^;

Peace Out! ^_^

I would recommend digging through the forums on Cosplay.com. There are many, many threads that you would find useful regarding Kikyou's outfit or other such kimono/hakama styles. I will warn you, though, that hakama are quite difficult for a beginning sewer. If you are willing to pay to have the costume made, I do accept commissions. Send me a message if you are interested. ^__^

Thanks for the comment, by the way!

Thanks. I'll do that.

Ahh heheh, I would, but I'm totally broke ^^; but my neighbour is a seamstress and my mom used to sew, so I could ask them for help. :D

Peace Out! ^_^
