Myself as Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII. Photo taken by Kevin [StillVisions] at Otakon 2009. I only just yesterday got these shots back, and I have to say that they were worth every second of the wait! We shot in the most bizarre, crowded corners of the con, simply for lack of anywhere else to go, and every single photo is gorgeous. I am such a happy Tifa! I put a lot more time into this costume than I ever thought I would, and I'm happy that this photo highlights some of my favourite bits: the weathering on the gloves and armor, the wig and contacts, the suspenders [every bit of those suckers is handmade except for the little silver buckles at the very bottom], and the barrette. Even those terrible earrings that I probably spent 20 hours of my life hunting down, LOL. I based my costume on the original Nomura art, rather than the CG version. Costume and wig constructed/styled by myself.
