Photography: Disney Chapel. by cupcake-rufflebutt Photography: Disney Chapel. by cupcake-rufflebutt
For a change I thought I'd upload some of my own photography. I received a beautiful new Canon camera for my birthday and though I'm still learning the ins and outs of its most basic settings, I had a lot of fun testing it out while on vacation at Walt Disney World this past summer. Featured here is the gate of the wedding chapel at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, just across the lagoon from the Magic Kingdom. It would be heavenly to get married here, but I'm all too familiar with the expenses of such a venture!

Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! <3

It is a beautiful camera! I had several photographer friends recommend it to me, and I frequently have people stop me at conventions and ask about it. I feel a little bad because I don't altogether understand what is so noteworthy about it, but it really does take gorgeous photos!

Well, if you can get yourself to Florida, it's a free walk around the Walt Disney World property! [Which is one of the reasons I love walking WDW more than visiting the theme parks - Just as beautiful, and it's free!]

I saw that place when I went two years ago. Getting married there would be a dream come true (as would going back to Disneyworld)

It's truly beautiful. I need to hunt down the other wedding pavilions on WDW property, next time I'm down that way. They built two after this one, but my mind is going blank on where they are located.

I wonder if it's in any of the parks. I may have seen one in the Downtown Disney section. For all we know, they might be well hidden.

I just looked it up and, by golly, I was wrong. There are FIVE wedding locations. The pavilion, obviously, and then there's the Polynesian, Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge, and Boardwalk. Now I'm a little miffed because I probably walked right by the Polynesian's wedding spot when I was walking toward the wedding pavilion.

I guess a lot of people fantisize about a Disney wedding. It sounds so awesome.

This is so gorgeous! The setting is so beautiful...I love how the white of the architecture contrasts with the blue sky and green plants. The image is great quality too :aww:

I honestly could not have asked for a more beautiful day to visit. The sky was just PERFECT.

I've seen a wedding or two while passing by there on the monorail. I need to actually explore that place eventually, especially Animal Kingdom Lodge. The front lobby there alone is AMAZING.

I was a little sad there wasn't anything going on when we walked by - There had been 3 weddings there the previous day, according to the signage outside the pavilion! And oh gosh, WDW is just my favourite place on earth to poke around and explore. I could spend WEEKS just wandering around the property, and I don't think I'd even come close to taking it all in. The sheer attention to detail is mind-blowing. I'm glad to find another person who appreciates it so much!
