Geta-Boushi.

Myself as "Geta-Boushi" Urahara Kisuke from Bleach. Photos taken via self-timer in June 2006. This is actually my second incarnation of this version of Urahara- I was quite proud of the wig this time around, and tried for a nice clean fit in all of the garments. I know I make a rather silly "tall manly man," but Urahara is perhaps my favourite male character in any manga or anime, so I give him all the love a "short girly girl" can via cosplay! Every aspect of the costume [save the geta] was constructed by me- Yes, this was created back before "soul reapers" came to the US and dealer's rooms were overrun by those godawful Urahara hats. [I'm picky about his hat and most of the factory-produced ones have completely the wrong shape and are lacking certain details from the manga. D:]
