Character: Human Luna from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

Construction Notes:
At Katsucon I requested a glamour shot of Luna - something reminiscent of a shoujo artbook - and this is what Vince came up with! I love that it shows off my wig and accessories so nicely. <3 The four odango are made from hair extensions glued around foam balls, then fastened into the wig along with the pearls. The accessories are made from sculpie, a medium I honestly hadn't worked with since 2004 when I made my Witch Hunter Robin pendant. I usually prefer the lightness of Model Magic, but I knew I wanted Luna's accessories to have a bit of weight to them in order to hang properly. I love the editing Vince did with this shot, but I should add that my wig is in actuality a matte black and the contacts are a more subtle blue, LOL.

First and for most, I love your Luna cosplay. ^.^;
Actually I love all of your cosplays, but I don't want to sound like a fan girl.
I have a question tho concerning the wig. When you say you fastened the odango to the wig, do you mean you sewed it? Or did you use some other method?
I'm currently making my own little wig, I'm thrilled with the ideal of stumping it.
I have seen a few other methods use, but they seem 'off.'
Yours, how ever, look natural.
Any information/guidance you could offer would be very helpful.
