Construction Notes:
After years of sighing languidly over Sakizou's elaborate FFVI artwork, Krys and I finally decided to tackle these beasties for Otakon, thereby creating lace and trim shortages in the great states of Texas and New Jersey, LOL. A week after the con, my brain still can't even register the amount of work that went into Terra (I think I'm still in shock that she is actually finished!) so I'll have to save my construction notes for a later upload. I will say that this is by far the most intricate, time-consuming, and expensive costume I've ever made, and I probably wouldn't have considered investing in such a big project if not for all of the great feedback and encouragement I've gotten on my previous Terra costumes. (That's you guys! Thank you! :3) I intend to make a few small tweaks to her before Katsucon, but on the whole I am very pleased with how she turned out. Onward to smaller, less stressful projects like Princesses Bubblegum and Serenity!

Oh, also, PEER PRESSURE. >__> *MindFall and ~CaptainMiles talked me into entering the Friday Hall Contest at Otakon, which was a bit stressful because I don't particularly enjoy competing, let alone at HUGE cons like Otakon. I was also without a portfolio or reference images, not having planned on competing. But long story short, everything went really well and I received Best Craftsman! Sometimes peer pressure can be good. <3
