Cosplay Year in Review + 2013 Plans.

Happy Holidays! It's that time of the year where I throw together this meme of the costumes I've completed over the past 12 months, as well as my plans for the coming year. Sadly this was a bit of a dry year for me, cosplay-wise, having spent a lot of my spare time hunting for a new teaching position, moving to a new town, and settling into a new classroom and apartment. Even still, I was surprised that I only managed to cobble together 3 costumes this year:

Eternal Neptune from Sailor Moon, Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI (artwork by ~sakizo), and Child Rydia from Final Fantasy IV.

While I lament the lack of new costumes, I'm pleased with the quality of work I achieved on all 3, particularly Sakizou Terra, which was my baby for many, many months. C: I'm super excited to see what I can accomplish in 2013, and hope to have several new costumes whipped together for Katsucon in February!

My wishlist for the coming year includes, but is certainly not limited to: Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time, Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled, Regency Rapunzel (artwork by ~MissSmish), Queen Elinor from Pixar's Brave, Donna Noble from Doctor Who, Weeping Angel from Doctor Who, TARDIS Fashion (artwork by *Atomic-Clover), Idris from Doctor Who, Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, Barris Offee from Star Wars, Mercedes from Odin Sphere, Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon, Honey (artwork by ~sakizo), Virgo (artwork by ~sakizo), Aquamarine (artwork by ~sakizo), and Anya from Anastasia.

Thank you for all the encouragement this past year; I am very lucky to have such wonderful support here on DeviantART. Have a blessed and productive 2013, all! <3
