Happy Halloween! I thought it might be nice to upload a cute Corpse Bride shot to help celebrate my favourite holiday, since my workplace is fairly stifling where Halloween is concerned. [I work with elementary school children and, for the life of me, I cannot comprehend the way our public school system chooses to outright ignore such a fun time of year. But that is another rant for another time.]

The lighting in this shot was very dim and yellow and the file I received was too small to do much with, so I played around in Photoshop until I hit upon the idea of simply making the shot greyscale with just a hint of my blue bodypaint showing through. I love how my fingers actually look like bones. And the expression on Claire's face is SO adorable, hahah. I have high aspirations to remake these one day, since I have learned so much since I first set about making Emily back in 2006. Both costumes and wigs were constructed/styled by myself.
