Myself as Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. Photo taken by Elizabeth at Anime Central 2007. This pose is from an FMA shoot that I was doing with Lionel at the time, but the shot is from a girl named Elizabeth who, I guess, snuck up on us. ^__^; I really like this different angle and the fact that you can see so much of the alchemy circle drawn out. I added a glow on the circle and toned down the brightness of the shot in hopes of achieving a more moody, grungy atmosphere. In the end, I like to think it could pass for a still from a movie! The costume and wig were constructed by myself, though this is the "first generation" of the costume: I later went back and added manga-specific details to the boots and coat, as I am a complete slut for the manga. [You're not an FMA fan until you've read the manga, seriously.]
Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! :3 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to  this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here. |
